Belonging to Earth

The melody between people and landscape.

Belonging to Earth

Belonging to Earth is my weekly storytelling practice.

Each week I write a new story inspired by the people, landscapes and experiences that continue to shape the way I see the world.

These stories explore connection, curiosity and what it means to belong to ourselves, to one another and to the world around us.

Every story is written first, then narrated in my own voice. Because sometimes a story is not only about the words on the page, but the feeling, pauses and emotions that are carried through the spoken word.

You can choose the way you would like to experience Belonging to Earth.

Farming Revolution Is Here to Stay

The philosophy behind my new chapter

We still need a farming revolution. I don’t think anyone can argue with that. But I feel the focus needs to shift towards land hydration, where we think regeneratively about how we can improve the water and carbon cycles.

The term ‘regeneration’ may be close to expiry but the principles and techniques will stay the same. Understanding the message is not about specific labels and misperceptions but redirecting the conversation from “what we need to do” — to “how do we go about it”.

So many hours behind the camera filming honest stories of trial and error. Coming straight from the horse’s mouth, farmers becoming the storytellers. The conversations are uncut and raw, inspiring people to learn and belong by capturing the beauty of rural Australia through the lens of a farming revolution.
