NQ Dry Tropics is an important organisation that protects the diverse Burdekin region and the Great Barrier Reef.
The Burdekin region is a remarkably diverse region. It runs from the wet tropics out to the dry savannah. It goes from the coast to the Great Dividing Range. With a total land are of 146,000 square kilometres the Burdekin region makes up around 8% of Queensland. This video explains why we work for NQ Dry Tropics and why this organisation is important to this region.
