TESTIMONIAL

"Farming Revolution is a brilliant moniker because that is precisely what regenerative agriculture is about, a revolution.

The website gives one the sense of the unstoppable momentum of this movement. Probably the best Regen website there is, I love it.

Congratulations!"

Nobody cares about your business.....

unless you can help them find a solution to what they are struggling with.

I’ve been learning for the past year. I had zero care for marketing and I forced myself to endure what I considered was torture.

Firstly I had to sit, secondly I was being told how I view the world! But I don’t see the world the same way the average layperson sees it.

I stuck with it and now I understand.

It’s all about communication. I have also been studying this in my own time. Listening and analysing the complexities of conversations. I have experienced first hand the breakdown in communication and it is a really hard lesson to learn. It destroyed a very special friendship that I cherished and nearly destroyed me in the process.

So, nobody cares about #farmingrevolution that’s true. But I care about your health, your children, our farmers, our animals and ultimately Mother Earth. I want you to succeed in your small regenerative business, I want you to grow regenerative food BECAUSE when you succeed so do I.

That is when you will start caring about my business www.farmingrevolution.com.au 💚

Look at the pollen sacks on this worker bee. She doesn’t care that this is classified as a weed.
It’s called Cobblers Peg and in my eyes it’s not a weed because my horses eat it and the bees love it. #regenerateaustralia

Autumn is here. Mist in the valley, thick dew on the grass and a cooler breeze rising from the valley floor.

A city child commented on how dirty my Ute was when I was in Southport.
“Daddy look at this dirty car, look how dirty it is. Daddy look....”
Daddy was quite embarrassed because I was sitting in my dirty Ute!
If only that little girl knew what my Ute does. 💚

Meet Tofu. This is his morning dance with his reflection. He is such a brave little bantam and looks after his girls really well.
He fights with the bush turkey who’s 3 times his size. I’m sure he would try to protect his chickens from the wedge tail eagles too, don’t think it would end well for him though.

Finally my neighbours helped me get my water tank to its rightful position next to the stables roof and connected.
I have missed so much of this season’s summer rain but I’m grateful to catch this over the next 8 days.

Next mission is to set up the irrigation. Not easy when I’m off grid but I can still do it.

Nothing too special about this plant....take a closer look and you will see what I see.

Rain over night to wake to the beauty of a Sunday morning.

This is my most creative day, my special time is Sunday morning. My most favourite part is sharing it with someone special.

How do you start your day? I’m quietly sipping my tea while I think about my plan of action. I usually write a list, because it gives me great satisfaction when I cross off the jobs I have done 🤣👏👏👏

#farmingrevolution is now online and offline so everyday is brimming with jobs. However, my therapy is to clean and paint so I’m tackling my house one room at a time.

How long is your list today?

The Wedge Tailed Eagle is my totem. It is the apex predator that circles the sky above me.

#farmingrevolution began because these skies were empty back in 2016. My life entered its phase of chaos and I looked to my skies for direction.

Once on the #regenerative path in 2017 after 6 months my WT eagles came home.

Their spiritual presence resonates through this sacred valley of Wongawallan.

I am lost without my WT eagles.

I know! A muck heap photo....let me explain.

I had a box trailer that was full of rubbish. Now that box trailer is full of muck.

What’s the difference, I hear you say. Well one is earning me profit in the long term and one was just a load of rubbish. Hahaha

I park my trailer at someone’s house and they fill this trailer up over the course of a week as they muck out their stables. I collect it for free and empty it on my property then take it back and park it up for another week.

A muck heap that’s both carbon and nitrogen and free! But there’s more.... this will help to regenerate my land so I can grow food that I will sell in niche markets.

That’s what I call long term holistic thinking. Gotta love #regeneration

I live in wattle country in the Gold Coast Hinterland and this week has seen the entire valley from Wongawallan to the GC in wattle bloom.

This flower is the Australian emblem and I feel so connected to this magical land of Oz when these trees flower in unison. #wattle #yellowwattle

It’s that Sunday morning feeling when you wake up to a beautiful wet season. Queensland summer rain is our usual weather pattern. After 4 years of dry summer, this year has been so, so, so appreciated.

C4 grasses are going nuts. My bare paddocks are recovering and #farmingrevolution is about to start planting regenerative food for regenerative people on the #goldcoast

What I love most about finding a caterpillar is wondering what sort of butterfly it will morph into. And when I see it next will I recognise it.

This caterpillar is eating the pollen from these Pineapple Lillies.

This goes out to @heartandsoilcoach who’s video about “weeds” I enjoyed so much I just had to make a video of my paddock.
What is this tap rooted weed Kim? I’m loving the grass growth in this paddock and I think it’s being helped by this “weed”.

Our wet summer season has graced us with her presence after 4 years without summer rain.

Nature is green all around us and the paddocks are full of feed.

It really is the best feeling.

That little tug on my heart string when I found this little egg this morning.

Pigeon my first hand raised chicken (white leghorn x bantam) was acting slightly out of character yesterday and I thought maybe she is ready to lay.

What a little cutie she is. 💚❤️ #chickenlove
